How did the Printing Press Change Communication?
A global news network has been created:
As books were being created at a very fast pace, there was a need to distribute them for profit and for the reason that there would be excessive amounts in one town and would end up going to waste. In Venice, the production of books was so high, that sailors would take the texts and literature to sell and copy these documents in the next region they landed in. Translations of texts which would've been illegible were now being able to be read. The outcome was the spread of literature and connecting universal languages together. Now, books which were produced in a certain town had the opportunity to be spread all the way across continents due to the demolished centralized control and censorship countries had established on printing.

Movements like the Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution could be heard:
Throughout Europe, the Renaissance now had the opportunity to have its works and ideas be spread to all the minds across the continent. Classical texts which have been lost during over the decades were now being rediscovered, along as being copied in order to have them republished and open for the public. The printing press had allowed for the republishing to be done at a lower cost, more efficiently and very accurately than by hand. Famous influencers of the 16th century like Martin Luther had used their platform alongside the printing press to establish new ways of spreading religion on an enormous scale. With the ability to now print scientific documents, scientific experiments and findings were now able to be shared on paper in great scales. Astronomers like Nicolaus Copernicus were able to expand their knowledge based off of the "now printed" works of Ptolemy and build accurate structures and reasonings helped influence the future Scientific Revolution. As a long term result, science was fueled across the continent and led to great discoveries in astronomy and medicine.
Communication Gets Spread Out of Europe:
Gutenberg's invention has changed the world abroad with the spread of newspapers, books, and important documents. Not only have countries benefitted politically by the production of Constitutions, but also economically because of the mechanical printing press making production of books cheaper and faster. The widespread availability of books helped society become literate and have information reached to them in a faster manner. Sea routes, land trade, and future air travel has opened up barriers of communication for the whole world.
